Assist with general tasks such as: Laundry Duty, Housekeeping/Janitorial Duty, Vacuuming, Mopping, Bathroom Cleaning, Lounge/Kitchen Cleaning, Making sure the shelter has enough supplies, Yard Work, Raking, Trail Maintenance, and Shoveling.

Skill Building Program volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, pass a background check, be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations, and be available to help us with at least one night or weekend in-person activity each month.

We are always looking for new and creative ways for volunteers to get involved but some examples of volunteer opportunities include: working in the thrift store, assisting with awareness month outreach activities, providing childcare, providing transportation, moving furniture, etc.

Volunteer opportunities include: General Clerical and Administrative Support, Finance and Administrative Support, Outreach, Marketing and Fundraising, and Help Line Advocate.
