We are always looking for positive people who love writing and sports who can give their time as statisticians, coaches, referees, or as a beat reporter for our social media pages and newsletters. To work with you volunteers must have a driver’s license, be fingerprinted, TV tests, and have two references.

Addressing invitations, sending out mass mailings, preparing hands-on projects for school groups, glazing/firing after a family event, helping out with show installations and de-installations, renovations of the rest of our facilities and other general office tasks all require volunteers. There is no minimum time requirement and a vast selection of jobs is available.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

For those not ready to work on the farm, we can always use the help in other ways such as outreach, program support, and fundraising.

If you would like to gain experience and insight about the inner-workings of the nonprofit world, this is your chance to provide administrative and clerical support to Allies staff.

If you have a green thumb (or want one!), this is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and help our large, beautiful garden grow. Great for groups!

General volunteer opportunities include helping out with a mailing, being a docent at a community or school event, tell the community about CDI, assist with data entry, provide translation services, create signs, or help out with laundry.
