Volunteer to help children and youth K-12 with homework, reading, and fun learning activities. Sessions are held from 4-7pm, Monday-Thursday, throughout the academic year (August – May). Volunteers work one-on-one or in small groups and may choose between subjects and grade levels. Science, math, and writing tutors are especially needed.

On most Fridays we take the scholars off-site between for fun and engaging field trips! We are always grateful to have extra chaperones at our field trips, as it allows our scholars more freedom to explore in smaller groups! Time commitment is a Friday during the summer.

Come assist while our scholars enjoy a variety of afternoon activities including STEM, math, music, sports, art and more! Every afternoon, Monday through Thursday, we are in need of extra hands for these activities. This is a great time to see scholars in action! Time commitment is 2 hours a week for 6 weeks.
Work with high schoolers throughout the year by providing them guidance through high school and advice on higher education. Experience in college admissions and education is highly appreciated. Mentoring commitment is for an entire school year.
reDiscover Center regularly get donations of discarded household, commercial, and industrial materials that have the potential to have a second life as “rediscovered” material for art and education. Those donations need to be sorted, cleaned, photographed, and shelved.
