The Community Drives Program offers community members the opportunity to support our work remotely by participating and/or organizing Welcome Kit collections and seasonal drives in support of IINE’s students, clients, and programs.

Ethos holds over 20 daily, weekly, and monthly community cafes where local seniors can drop in for a free nutritious meal and some socialization. Volunteers are needed to help set up, serve meals, socialize with seniors, and clean up after the meals.

AP ambassadors raise awareness about Aaron’s Presents through presentations and recruitment or fundraising events. Ambassadors are past participants who speak about their completed project and overall experience and interact with other adults and kids in a way that positively reflects the values and mission of AP.

We are also always looking for support in the following areas: administrative (database, mailings, organization), communications, graphic design of marketing materials, social media, and website.

Volunteers serve on event committees and assist with planning and production during the various fundraisers and special events that Strongwater holds each year.

Conduct research on your choice of topics related to the Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House. Research can be used to develop programs, lectures and tours and can provide additional resources for visitors and volunteers.

Perform clerical functions to assist the site manager. This may include database management, data entry, help with mailings, etc. It could also include inventory management for bookstore items.

Familiarize yourself with the content of the house and share that information with visitors. Answer questions, lead tours and welcome guests. Tours can last up to forty-five minutes and should include time for questions. You can choose to portray historical figures in costume. Feel free to make the presentation your own!
