Our teen mentorship program is an opportunity for you to listen and advise our teen members. You’ll work with out Teen Director and trained social worker to create a mentorship plan for one of our 12-16 year olds, and you’ll serve as a point of advice for them throughout your weekly mentorship sessions.
Sociedad Latina also seeks volunteers to support with our civic engagement and community organizing efforts related to education reform, health inequity and Latino arts & culture. Volunteers can help host trainings for youth and families, develop high-quality campaign materials (e.g. one pagers/brochures, white papers, social media content) and participate in campaign actions.
Seniors 50 and older compete in the Southwest Ohio Senior Olympics (April-May) in a variety of athletic events. You’ll help time, keep score and show hospitality.
Provides organizational and clerical support.
Visits patients in their homes for companionship and socialization, may assist with errands and light housekeeping tasks. Provides caregiver relief for their families and caregivers.
Coordinate transportation, scheduling with schools, meals for tours, compiling essay and evaluation summaries.
