Assist in the office as needed for data entry and office assistance tasks. Help with marketing by distributing flyers around the seacoast area. Help to table during festivals and fairs.

For those who cannot dedicate a serious amount of time to HAWC or would rather gradually begin getting involved, consider the following volunteer opportunities that only require an orientation: document translation, clinical supervisor provider, and event related help.

In the office, at the shelter, or during special events, HAWC can use all the hands it can get! HAWC offers many opportunities for workplace activism, but if you want your group to get involved in other ways, let us know!

Opportunities include: Membership Coordinator, Donor Response, General Administration, Grant Proposal Writer, and Adopter Check-Ins.

Opportunities include: Adopter Updates, Pooch Paparazzi, Foster Dog Profile Writers, Publicity Coordinators, Social Network Administrators, Website Development, and Website/Publications Content Writers.

Volunteers engage in the following roles: Evaluators, Trainers, Foster Homes, Foster Home Support, Telephone Interviews, Home Visits, Reference Checks, Foster Home Set Up, Transport Foster Supply Maintenance, Dog Walkers, Adopter Support, Medical Tracking, and Micro Chip Tracking.

Opportunities include: Fundraising Event Coordinators, Fundraising Event Staff, Awareness Event Coordinators, Awareness Event Coordinators, and Publicity & Advertising.
