A wonderful opportunity to provide support, respite and friendship to patients, families and caregivers. Give a little piece of your time to help brighten someone’s day. You can choose the time. Companion volunteering is very flexible to your scheduling needs. Share a cup of tea, play a game of cards, or just share some conversation.

Volunteer for our signature fundraising events Pie in the Sky (fall) and LifeSavor (spring). Serve on our planning committees or sign up for specific event-related volunteer shifts.

We offer team-building opportunities for corporations, religious groups, alumni associations, and other organizations. Our kitchen can accommodate small and large groups. Volunteers must be 13+. Groups receive a 30-minute orientation and food safety training at the start of their shift.

You help with behind-the-scenes work like processing client requests, networking and creating partnerships with local vendors who provide much-needed supplies, raising funds, advocating within the community and more.

Neighbors helping neighbors – help to create safe and healthy homes for everyone by installing grab bars, windows, fixing leaks and the like for our neighbors in need.

Community Service opportunities are available for scouts, sports teams, or other youth groups. Youth actively participate in hands-on activities to learn about families in need.

Adults, teens (13-17), and children (8-12, accompanied by adult) are needed to sort and package donations of clothes, toys, and baby equipment. We have two locations to choose from: Boxford (clothes and baby equipment) on the 1st Saturday of each month or Middleton (toys) on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
