The Archives houses the Museum’s collection of written historical materials, (with a particularly impressive anthology of Abraham Lincoln), records of the Museum’s collections and a broad array of manuscripts regarding the Plymouth community, such as census data, old newspapers, photographs and genealogies of Plymouth families. The Archives attracts researchers of every type.

Volunteers help us collect and pass out items to people in need. They also help out with fundraising events and spreading awareness in the community.

The Museum operates a small outlet that stocks a variety of items such as books about Abraham Lincoln, books about Plymouth history, old-fashioned candy, and replicas of antique toys. The store is open during the Museum’s normal hours of operation and is staffed entirely by volunteers.

This position is part of the stage crew. Properties are all of the set dressings and small articles used in a production. Time commitment is the full run of the show plus tech week and some rehearsals.

Greet the public and sell water and snacks prior to and during intermission of each show. Must be 18 years or older. Arrival time is 45 minutes prior to the performance.

Volunteers needed to assist in data entry, filing and general office work. Time and commitment varied but daytime hours only.

Volunteers help build, cover, repair, paint and tear down sets. It is helpful for volunteers in this area to have some construction or painting background. Daytime and night hours are often available.

Volunteers needed to assist board members with special events such as sponsor receptions and special fundraising events. On call on an as-needed basis.
