The Private Attorney Involvement (“PAI”) Project’s referral services include representation on either a pro bono or compensated basis. We will also refer over income applicants or fee-generating matters. Tutors will provide academic support for students working to receive their HiSET (GED) in the YWCA Youth Build Program. Tutors should be skilled and knowledgeable in either or all subjects in math, science, writing and social studies.

This individual will assist with menu planning and meal prep for the shelter. RAVE receives many food donations such as canned and boxed goods. Ideally, this individual would utilize the items RAVE currently has and assist women with meal planning around these items. This volunteer would create recipes and prepare meals with the women.

Domestic violence is so hurtful, especially to children. Having to leave home and come to a new place is very scary and can cause kids to struggle in school. We are in need of a volunteer to come and provide tutoring to kids in the shelter.

RAVE-I/M, Inc. is always in need of people who have a skilled trade. From roofing to remodeling bathrooms, whatever it is chances are we could use the help. This commitment level can vary depending on the task, but generally it is short term.

MARC tutors make a difference! Volunteer tutors meet one-on-one with students, working together to increase literacy skills, aiming for the goals they have set. There is an ongoing need for tutors.

These volunteers help with routine maintenance of our shelter and our grounds, for example, helping to plow our paths when it snows so that our dogs can be walked. Trades experience is a plus (landscaping, carpentry, painting, etc).
