Assists with marketing Africa Fire Mission to individuals, churches, associations, and corporations. The Marketing Manager seeks corporate partners and sponsors and managers corporate sponsorship programs. The Marketing Manager provides formal and informal representation at conferences and events.

Have a knack for social media? We need help building our social media presence by curating and developing online content. We mostly use Facebook and Instagram.

We are constantly seeking volunteers to serve as interpreters during meetings, appointments, and trainings and to translate important documents. If you are fluent in one or more of these languages, please reach out! Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Farsi, Haitian, Creole, Swahili, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian.

If you have any mechanical skills or knowledge of a trade, the Maintenance crew just might be the place for you. Members of the team care for the building’s physical structure and its mechanical systems, build displays and other attractions, and otherwise are the Museum’s “jacks-of-all-trades.” They work Monday and Wednesday mornings.

Have a flair for design or an artistic streak? Put it to use; join the Exhibits group and help conceive and erect special displays and exhibits. This team of creative persons continuously garners high praise from the public for its outstanding work. It meets Wednesdays during the year, but every day during exhibit change-over.

Former teachers, aspiring teachers and others combine to design and present programs for elementary and middle school students using the Museum’s exhibits and artifacts to present American history in an entertaining and engaging way. The Museum’s educational activities attract schools from throughout the metropolitan area. But, don’t let the term “teacher” scare you; anyone interested…

Volunteer help is needed to manage office computers and software, web upkeep, graphic design, social media management. Also looking for help in poster distribution. Variable day time hours.

Volunteers are instrumental in building costumes as well as putting finishing touches on projects. Time requirement varies with each show but hours are flexible with your schedule.
