United South End Settlements seeks an enthusiastic Data and Evaluation Volunteer to assist with the data maintenance and evaluation operations that support our impact measurement and programs’ mission.

Support and provide resources to survivors looking for legal support; advocacy in court rooms, accompaniment to the police station, restraining order support, etc. This position requires our 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocate Training.

Volunteers support a variety of daily activities including dissemination of information, clerical help, collecting, collating, and updating data. Good communication, organizational, and computer skills are needed. Multi-lingual skills a plus. The time commitment is flexible during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

Share a motivational story about your life or career path or share about your expertise in a particular field with high school students. This could be something you’ve done research on, teach, or specialize in.

Help guide the agency, assist with fundraisers, and vote on organizational matters. Must be able to commit to quarterly meetings on Tuesday evenings. ​Must live or work in Rochester, be a current or retired business professional, and be well-connected in the community. Previous Board experience desirable, but not required. ​

Share your talents, hobbies or interests by leading a weekly program (i.e. knitting, photography, book club, dance, geology, etc.).

Do you love to talk with people and share your love of the outdoors? Do you know plant, wildlife, or geology identification like the back of your hand? Do you have oral histories about local properties to share? If so, the GOAT program is for you!

SCS has a vibrant after school enrichment program. We are always looking for volunteers wanting to share their special skills with our students.

Volunteer to help with researching grant opportunities for the organization. Prior experience necessary, can work remotely.
