Social media keeps us connected to our clients, our donors and the community at large. We are looking for a volunteer to who can devote one day a week to helping with our social media campaign. Duties include gathering information on current events in the boutique, taking and editing photographs, writing and scheduling posts.

Volunteers are needed to speak to a variety of audiences throughout the Greater Boston Area. Locations and formats vary greatly, and volunteers are contacted on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking in both formal and casual settings. Content will be provided.

You can also volunteer for one of the Committees that help keep Community Harvest Project running. We currently have openings on our Education, Events, and Finance Committees.

We are always interested in recruiting active, community-minded individuals to serve on our board of directors. We meet monthly, with the exception of summer months, to set policy and strategic direction for the Center. If you have grant writing, event planning, or other fundraising expertise, we can use your help!

We need volunteers to tutor children with homework and reading. We are also looking for volunteers to lead weekly hour-long workshops, such as martial arts, gardening, graphic design, or a gaming club! What are you good at? Let us know!
