Law students and professional lawyers help and provide their talents to help solve cases.
Currently, we need volunteers to help us preserve and restore a 1950’s pullman and a rotary snow plow.
We need engineers, conductors, stationmasters and greeters to help us run the trains during the summer. Also needed are volunteers to help us expand the current track. And lastly, we need a manager who can help with other track signage, history signage, structure installations, Operation Lifesaver program, station canopy construction, new operational signage, fun signs,…
Musicians, sound, audio, and video creatives provide the atmosphere we all enjoy during Sunday services. If you’re a musician, vocalist, or “Tech Geek” we’d love to hear from you! Send us a note about your interest and we’ll be in touch!
Supports demonstrations, education and item sales; proof of experience and references required.
Supports weekly photographic activities by volunteers, Tahoe Heritage Foundation & USFS staff, create marketing and social media quality photos.
Supports general maintenance, protection/care and repair of historic vintage vehicles;
Hands-on sewing and repairing of period appropriate costumes, support selection and fitting of volunteer costuming; work alongside costumer onsite and through email.
LTWC receives support from local individuals and businesses who help by sharing their skills and services with us. These include legal assistance, building design and construction services, printing, photography and videography, IT support, website design, and other professional services.
Serve as chair person or officer on the Auxiliary Board of Directors.
