We are looking for experienced birders to help with our Grassland Bird Surveys, which are conducted once a week each June.
Detroit Audubon is seeking experienced birders to lead some of our field trips for 2023. We will offer personal training and work closely with our new field trip leaders until they are comfortable leading on their own or with a co-lead.

Maintenance assistance such as mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, fencing, and farm equipment skills are always needed.
We also have a role for volunteers behind the scenes. With tens of thousands of artifacts in our collection, the Museum is constantly inventorying and cataloging these historical treasures. We are also always looking for those who like to write, or are handy with a hammer.
Assist by organizing events, soliciting donations, grant writing, grant management, identification of grant opportunities, and more.
