We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with our public education events and tabling events! This would involve helping us set-up and take down information tables, help with craft preparation, our traveling bookstore, and of course participate in some education and outreach about Detroit Audubon and bird conservation!

Be a part of our signature evening event, Wags & Whiskers. You can assist at the event with activities such as set-up, break-down, host duties. Or you can join the committee and procure auction donations or take on other leadership roles. Pass out educational spay/neuter and pet care materials at community events and help staff…

Volunteers assist with work projects, afternoon activities, general cleaning and staff back up. Volunteers with cars may be asked to run errands and provide transportation.

Print will-call tickets, process credit cards and handle cash sales for walk-up ticket purchases. Training or prior experience is required for this position.
