Our volunteers help the Club’s members in many ways: providing Homework Help during PowerHour, coaching in our athletic programs, leading art programs, teaching computer coding and animation, mentoring at-risk teens, talking about careers, tutoring in every subject, and providing invaluable administrative and special event support.

Organize and carry out funding drives; obtain gift cards from local businesses; obtain in-kind donations of supplies. Assist with fundraising and other events, secure prizes for auctions, staff events, volunteer recognition.

For those outside of Southern California, there are many ways to get involved remotely including promoting our adoptable animals, spreading awareness on social media, serving as state and international directors, and fostering in response to disaster and non local emergencies. All volunteers must complete a phone or video interview. Further training may be required.

Volunteers assist with one-on-one or group socialization helping to increase confidence, lower stress and have fun! There are other ways to give your time including animal transportation, adoption events and more. All volunteers must attend a scheduled orientation and basic training.
