Coaches are vital to the success of our players and programs.
At our headquarters or events in your area, and in our comfortable, on-site volunteer center, you can prepare donations, tag products, organize inventory, or even become a volunteer staff member.
IN ORDER TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER, YOU MUST: – Be at least 18 years of age; 25 to support “tween” and teen programs – Attend a scheduled orientation – Complete a volunteer application and background check
Help with planning, marketing, registration, set up/breakdown & every fun thing in between – Programming Events – Day for Kids (September) – Lights on Afterschool (October) – Halloween/Haunted House (October) – Early Turkey Day (November)
We need people to help with cleaning, fingerprint abatement, garden work (seasonal) and other less than glamorous, yet very important activities.
Sorting new items that then must be identified, photographed, cleaned, tagged and input into the system. Background knowledge of military items would be helpful, but is not a requirement as long as you are willing to use the research materials we have on hand.
