The Northborough Food Pantry is run entirely by volunteers. We are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in staffing pantry on Thursday evenings when open for clients and for special projects and stocking shelves during weekend food drives.

Volunteers pack groceries, receive food donations, stock shelves, sort food to maintain quality control and help maintain sanitary working conditions. You can also assist with clerical responsibilities such as typing and data entry, or organize and hold food drives.

NHSSN partners with over 30+ local nonprofit organizations and municipalities in reaching out to the community through a number of outreach events. These events allow NHSSN to spread the word about its programs, as well as build personal relationships with the community.

The Abby’s House shelter has been providing a safe place for women, with and without children, who find themselves homeless for over 40 years. We have a special event each year in early November and need many volunteers for a successful effort: Scouting for Food is our largest food drive. You can volunteer to help us process the donations that day.

The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter connects people living with ALS and their families to volunteers to provide services. We also host and participate in numerous fundraising, awareness, and information-based opportunities throughout Massachusetts.
