Held throughout the year, our events need volunteers for flyer distribution, raffle and ticket sales, silent and live auction running, event setup, cleanup and breakdown, registration, etc. Volunteers work alongside the event coordinators to manage tasks and responsibilities. Training is provided as required.

Volunteer opportunities include picking up donated items from local donors, posting flyers, delivering meals and care packages to our families or running quick errands in a small driving radius. A valid driver’s license and use of your own vehicle is required and all risk of driving is assumed under your personal automobile insurance policy.

It is wonderful to receive a home cooked meal after spending multiple days eating hospital food. If you’re someone who enjoys cooking or baking, we have volunteers that prepare food on a regular basis or for specific outings and events. We have a freezer to store a number of meals at a time. There are three prerequisites for a volunteer to participate in the TFT system. They must be able to work minimum supervision, own a computer, and work remotely. Our volunteers should be confident enough to make phone calls, conduct interviews and would be expected to use standard office software such as Word and Excel.

We need help on Wednesday nights before and during the Food Pantry hours and at other times during the week for miscellaneous tasks.
