This volunteer position bridges the gap between Miller-Carr Human Services (MCHS) and the community. Nurturing respectful relationships with community agencies, leaders, family and other community stakeholders. Position require local travel and some evening/weekend work. Experience in the initiation, implementation and coordination of work in the community is required.

Working our Guest Services Desk, helping members claim their benefits before and after films.
Assisting in the success of special events in and around the community, like Taste of Ann Arbor or the Ann Arbor Film Festival or contributing to events and projects that make the Michigan Theater Foundation unique, like packing goody bags for holiday kids’ shows
Duties will include: event and activity photography, headshots, and other photography opportunities for marketing purposes of the organization. The time commitment would be 1-2 hours approximately 1-2x per month, as requested in advance.
There are many opportunities to improve the community by removing evasive species, staff a trees sale or work in the nursery, planting trees, reclaiming forests and more
Staff and event table – Enjoy a day with other Tree Stewards distributing tree-related information. Or Serve as a Trainee Class Contact
Organizational opportunities include joining a committee, photographing trees and events, or helping with media relations.
Work with students virtually, assist At Bat with facilitating a virtual after-school program, and be a mentor for students during the program.
