We need volunteers who are willing to be “out and about” in the community on a regular basis, doing outreach such as: helping educate tobacco retailers, providing prescription drug awareness, and helping at health fairs. Training is provided and the schedule is very flexible!

Engage in recreational activities with children in shelter, provide childcare during groups or meetings, and assist the Youth Advocate during parties and other special events. Volunteers help role model healthy, non-violent relationships while providing support and assistance to children who have effected by domestc violence and/or sexual assault.

Work groups are task-oriented, project-based opportunities that focus on a specific outcome and are closely aligned with volunteer skill sets and interests.
