Wells Bring Hope is looking for an individual to help generate original material for our blog. If you like to write, this position is perfect for you! We’re looking for reliable people who would like to write, want to contribute to a nonprofit, and/or are interested in a creative outlet.

Do you use Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter frequently?? Then put your skills to a good cause! Wells Bring Hope is looking for someone to expand our social media audience through engaging posts and online interactions.

Volunteer opportunities are vast and include: walking, bathing, fostering, or transporting our dogs; assisting at outdoor adoption events and fundraisers; or lending a hand with administrative work.

The following volunteer opportunities read/screen and deliberate on the submissions received for our Programs. Much of this experience is remote but often includes at least one element of in-person or phone meetings. These roles are incredibly important to the programs as they help select the final participants/fellows/grantees chosen for each program.

Every day, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We average about 2,300 meals per day! But we can’t do it without friends like you to help prepare and serve meals for guests.

We need volunteers in our PEEPS department, which involves caring for children aged 3 months – 5 years while their mothers are onsite taking Program classes. Students are welcome to volunteer, however, we do require student volunteers to be 16 or over to join the Prison Library Project.

If you are planning on joining the PLP with a group of five or more people, please call or email at least one week in advance. Please let us know if you would like a volunteer to briefly explain the program to your group.

We are looking for a few good people who can give us 3 hours of time on Wednesday afternoons or evenings. You’ll replenish dilutions on the student organ, set the space up for Wednesday evening Open Sessions, and help new students get set up choosing materials.

We need a little help managing the space during our open hours on Tuesday afternoons. General help around the IAO, including library organization, experimental scent organ clean-up and management, front of house duties such as greeting guests and explaining our mission, and project-by-project miscellaneous tasks and needs.
