We partner with Long Beach Unified School District to offer free after-school programs at three local schools: Alvarado Elementary, Bixby Elementary, and Marshall Middle School. Called WRAP (for Winners Reaching Amazing Potential), the program balances homework help, academic enrichment, and physically and emotionally healthy activities that help kids learn and grow in a positive environment.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

Assist aquarists with routine tasks such as cleaning tanks, monitoring water conditions, etc. Previous experience with saltwater aquariums is desirable.
Assist staff with the feeding of the live animal collection. Help with food preparation, feeding of the animal collection, observation of animal feeding habits and answering questions from the general public.
Interview someone who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. Transcribe an interview.
