From individuals providing help with homework to groups working on a specific project or Clubhouse, let us work with you to identify the best way to be involved. Fingerprint and background checks are required when working with children.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

Assist in manning the information table/booth representation. Greet guests and provide GGAF information to the general public. Hand out program information brochures and answer general questions about programs and eligibility.

We need volunteers at various times throughout the year to help collect and load donated items from conventions and shows hosted here in Las Vegas. Donated items can include furniture and building materials and these items will be sold in our ReStores.

CAL volunteers support the Career Readiness Group, a 15-week program that covers the skills needed to start a career in the US. The topics include resumes, cover letters, networking skills, job interview skills, and information about US workforce culture.

To be an English tutor, you don’t need previous teaching experience. You don’t even need to know another language. You will be trained (12 hours) and matched with an adult learner in your area for 1½ – 2 hours per week.
