Supernumeraries, or “supers,” function like extras in movies – they are non-singing, non-speaking parts that help bring the opera to life. Every season, we cast supernumeraries, and each production offers unique opportunities to participate. As a Super, you will share the stage with internationally renowned artists and work with celebrated directors and conductors.
Individuals pick up and serve food and beverages. Most importantly they provide a warm welcome to all those attending grief support groups.

The primary purpose of the AJC training is to evaluate and prepare those who have expressed interest in volunteering inside a jail setting. New Worship Teams are welcomed with an orientation that covers the following: history of Transforming Jail Ministries, policies and procedures for Worship Teams, focus of the Worship Team ministry, and the future direction of Transforming Jail Ministries. Throughout the year, Worship Teams meet three times to receive ongoing training and supervision and support.
As part of the application process, Clergy who enter into TJM’s Clergy Contact Visiting Program are provided a training orientation: Sessions are offered six times annually, the second Tuesday of the month in January, March, May, July, September and November.
