Mission trips provide individuals and groups with an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children through hands-on international ministry.
Help a committee with a focus on financial planning, capital campaigns, membership, donor retention and fundraising events.
The agriculture team manages the community garden, the plant rescue project and the acres of hops. Work is on site seasonally helping with general garden activities, plant propagation, harvesting fresh produce and tending to the hops.
Provide excellent customer service; answer phone calls to main shelter number; greet visitors; accept deliveries; clerical tasks as needed.
Build financial stability for families by helping them prepare and file their taxes at one of our free tax sites. Volunteers will receive training to meet one-on-one with families and file their return using tax software. Individuals can help on their own, or groups can adopt a tax site and volunteer together.
281-CARE is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral service. A 40-hour training will be provided along with ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training). Requirements: High School diploma or GED, background check, 5-10 hours per week (hours are flexible) and a three month commitment.
Host an activity, meal, training or workshop for our clients, write messages of hope to persons in recovery, landscape or help with site renovation projects. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities.
One-to-one mentoring with a student in grades 2-12, or College freshmen mentoring for 1 year to encourage a successful year.
Work with girls in grades 4 & 5 on social emotional skills and academics.
