Volunteers offer companionship, often teaching or sharing a special talent or interest, with an individual resident or all residents of a specific home. Resident-volunteer relationships develop while enjoying time together. Volunteer visits may include doing crafts, art projects, puzzles, playing games, cooking, playing Wii, enjoying sports, planting an herb garden, playing musical instrument or sharing…

We are looking for volunteers who can help develop and post content to our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).

Building-Creating-Performing: Patriots Day, ArtWalk public art initiatives, and Music at events.

Summer Camp, Help setting up summer stage, and tents – May, Garden help – moving small “art bricks” to the garden, weeding in June, and Lemonade Social – help serving lemonade, greeting guests.

Remote volunteers who can help with preparing articles for newsletters and our website and supporting fundraising through tasks such as arranging events and thanking donors.

These are short, one-time projects such as: writing thank-you cards; staffing an event (like helping at an art workshop); amplifying our announcements for new events, or programs; hanging a gallery exhibit; weeding the garden; displaying art for ArtWalk (October); or creating a photo display showcasing the Munroe building’s history.

Join a committee to help oversee what we do​. Committees include the MCA Board of Directors, Building Committee, Finance Committee, Development Committee, Outreach Committee, and the Governance Committee.

We are looking for skilled tradesmen, carpenters, electricians, etc. to help with framing and other construction needs during housing renovations.
