Interested in learning more about becoming a host parent/host family? There are no “requirements,” i.e., family size, age of children, etc. Successful host families have been parents with an empty nest and parents with young children, as well as parents with children currently in the secondary schools.
Many volunteers work in private homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and York County, Maine as well as at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA. Others donate their time and talent helping in the administrative offices, on special projects or assist at fundraising events.
