The advocacy group is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about advocating for affordable housing and other social justice efforts. You may also choose to participate in our regular community drives. These include gathering Christmas toys for children, school supplies, and other worthwhile, high-impact endeavors.
Become a classroom mentor.
Mentors are asked to commit to supporting 2-4 mentees every Wednesday (schedule will be provided) from February-April. Throughout this seasons, mentors will: Help students to identify and research scholarships that match their profile. Assist students in crafting and finalizing their scholarship essays Support students as they process their financial aid documents, manage college application portals…
This requires driving to shelters and checking out the dogs seen/heard about on Internet.
Pick up from shelter and deliver to rescue.
Calling references to verify information provided by potential adopter.
