Any resident, property owner, or business operator within Armada Township or the Armada Area School District, 18 years of age or older, that is willing to provide volunteer support with their time is eligible to become a part of the Friends of Armada organization.

Help with weeding and gardening maintenance as needed in native wildflower garden (our certified Monarch Waystation) located in front of the nature center along with pulling assorted invasive species in the enclosed Pool to Pond area.
Help MooseWood Nature Center spread the word about upcoming programs and events by creating and/or posting posters or fliers throughout the community and on the Northern Michigan University campus.
Feed, care and perform daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance for the live animals that call MooseWood home. Training is provided.
Do you have a hobby, trade or skill you want to share with others? Or want to share photos of an event you experienced? MooseWood can help you share your experience with others by providing a venue for your presentation or class.
Help us brainstorm, develop, monitor and maintain nature center displays, exhibits, and activities inside the nature center.
MooseWood Nature Center is looking for volunteers to assist and/or present educational programs to the public and to scout groups.
