Adults (21+ of age) are needed to lead/assist in providing/supporting STEAM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) related opportunities to 6th through 8th grade students. These opportunities are offered as students create and build a competitive robot. This is a perfect opportunity for retired educators/engineers who wish to share their knowledge/experiences with young people.

Community Rebuilders brings together volunteer groups of professionals, friends, and students. Volunteer groups support Community Rebuilders through project-based work at our fair market rentals. Projects vary depending on current needs but some examples are: Green thumbs – mowing lawns, landscaping, raking leaves; DIYers – painting, cleaning, small building projects.
Volunteers support Community Rebuilders by helping us transform a place to live into a home. Volunteers will assist with furniture and household goods pickup, delivery, and organization. Always focused on housing as the solution to homelessness, Community Rebuilders’ volunteers are also advocates for housing as a basic human right.
Collect books from your community to donate, these books will go to a student in need to help develop their reading skills.
We have many volunteer roles including food distribution, deliveries to clients, picking up donations, events, working on committees, and so much more!

The TAP Trainer volunteer conducts home visits to assist consumers with device set-up, account and password creation, and connection to internet service. The TAP Trainer supports consumers in their individualized sort-term tech goals, and will guide them through a curriculum suited for their specific devices and operating systems.
We need two ushers for each performance. Ushers arrive one hour before curtain, assist the house staff with preparing the theatre space, show patrons to their seats, hand out programs, and help tidy the theatre at the conclusion of the play.
