At Habitat, our committees provide support to each department. We are always seeking more volunteers from our local communities to serve on a committee and contribute fresh ideas to our organization. Our committees are as follows: Construction Committee, Event Committee, ReStore Committee, and Fund Development.
Volunteers are needed to help provide lunch for a wide range of volunteer opportunities from a group in our ReStore to a group on a jobsite. Volunteer groups can range from 6 volunteers to sometimes 20. Breakfast and snacks are helpful on the jobsite too!
We ask Volunteer Receptionists to commit to answer and make phone calls and perform various office tasks for four hours once or twice per week. Additional volunteer opportunities including help with filing and mailings have flexible hours and dates.
