Assist at the Concierge Service desk and help patients find information about resources at Dana-Farber and the Boston community. You’ll work closely with the Program Manager to ensure that patients and families are directed in a timely manner to the services and programs they’re looking for.
Provide support to patients and their families visiting the resource centers; to empower patients to learn more about disease and treatments options; to help the staff run an efficient and smooth operation.
Our Career Center is designed to assist our clients at any point in their job search. Clients are paired with a qualified volunteer for one-on-one guidance with the job search process, resume building, cover-letter writing, interview preparation, and general office support, including access to computers and printers.
Travel throughout the adult clinics offering reading material for patients and their families. Provide comfort to patients through conversation and general support, explaining the different services and programs that help the patients through their cancer journey.

Help with setup and preparation of the space for the donor drive (signs, information table, swabbing station etc.); assisting with donor registration (reviewing consents, preparing swab kits, assisting with the swabbing process); greeting attendees and answering questions; help with event closing including packaging, materials inventory and clean up.
The Strafford County Adult Tutorial Program provides free one-to-one tutoring in basic skills for anyone 18 and over in Strafford County. If you want to help tutor students with reading, math, writing, GED/HiSET prep, or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL), then the tutorial program may be for you.
Provide relaxing music to enhance the environment of the Yawkey 1 lobby and Yawkey 2 waiting area. Volunteers will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure that high-quality service is delivered.
