Companion volunteering is very flexible to your scheduling needs. Share a cup of tea, play a game of cards, or just share some conversation.
Volunteers are needed to speak to a variety of audiences throughout the Greater Boston Area. Locations and formats vary greatly, and volunteers are contacted on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking in both formal and casual settings. Content will be provided.

Volunteer for our signature fundraising events Pie in the Sky (fall) and LifeSavor (spring). Serve on our planning committees or sign up for specific event-related volunteer shifts.

Assist our delivery drivers on their weekday routes. Must first register and attend an orientation and consent to a CORI. Volunteers are assigned a specific delivery day from 8:30am-4:00pm.
We offer team-building opportunities for corporations, religious groups, alumni associations, and other organizations. Our kitchen can accommodate small and large groups. Volunteers must be 13+. Groups receive a 30-minute orientation and food safety training at the start of their shift.
Help us peel, chop, and package meals for our clients. Volunteers must be 13+. Hours are flexible but there is minimum requirement of a 2-hour shift. We can accommodate up to groups of 20 for each shift.
