Fundraising Committee volunteers are a social group who engage people in the community in our work. Committee members plan our museum tours that showcase our work, and plan and host our annual fundraising breakfast or lunch in November.
We need your help to install our new exhibit!
We need volunteer experts to help us with special learning initiatives. We can not fill all the expertise we need within our small staff so we welcome experts in our community to share their knowledge with children and make the museum a strong learning experience.
Our classes need supplies, volunteers help locate these supplies.
We need someone who loves to garden and create learning areas in our garden for children such as composting, a bee and butterfly flower bed and all sort of fun learning opportunities. We need someone (or two folks) all summer long and you can create your own schedule.
Serve alongside us in our local Cincinnati communities as we serve vulnerable children living in poverty or suffering from homelessness. We lead volunteer groups to go into communities or shelters on a regular basis to serve a meal, fill a practical need, play games and activities with the children, all while building sustained relationships.
Planning Committee volunteers network with municipalities, help with administration needs and get us ready to campaign for a permanent building!
From time to time, the Food Bank needs help with mailings, database management, courtesy calls and other clerical duties in our offices. Administrative volunteers are recruited on an as-needed basis. Please let us know if you’d like to be added to our list of administrative volunteers.
Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences in rescue. We will provide you with supplies. All you need is to provide a loving and stable environment.
One of LTR’s goals is to reach out to the community through education. It is important to educate the community on spay/neuter, pet safety, “adopt-don’t-shop”, and training!
