Work closely with Taking Root staff to help complete administrative tasks such as grant writing, database management (Registree, mailing lists etc.) and other tasks as needed. Need for help will vary depending on current projects.
Repair, paint, and offer upkeep. EDGE needs handy, helpful people to pitch in periodically to keep things in shape.
Keep kids safe and secure by greeting them as they enter EDGE and checking them into the computer system.
Be the proud delivery person for the beautiful herbs and produce from HUGS garden.
Students have the unique opportunity to provide community service at local service sites, with supervision and transportation provided. We need adults to drive and serve alongside our teen.
Are you a social butterfly? Volunteer to sit at the HUGS booth at Farmer’s Markets or community events like Operation Pumpkin, where you engage folks, spread the word about the organization, and sell produce.
EDGE is looking for people with graphic design skills or video production/editing experience to assist with promoting EDGE programs and special events.
The Museum Docent is informed about the Ancient Sculpture Collection in the Ancient Sculpture Museum, knowledgeable about the history of the park and greets guests when arriving to the Museum. The Docent will provide informational tours and answer any visitor questions.
Volunteers who know their way around Microsoft Office are needed to do data entry at Pyramid Hill. Data entry volunteers are needed daily and may work during any regular park hours.
Roamers should be comfortable working with the public as they will be approaching guests to distribute and gather surveys, selling raffle tickets or distributing promotional materials.
