Provide safety checks and limited, informal support to the homebound senior. Mutually agreed upon by both volunteer and customer. This may include shopping, visiting, or running errands. Check on the customer’s wellbeing. Notify CSSI or emergency contacts of any problems or irregularities.
The Adopt-a-Senior Program invites the community to participate in an annual gift giving program. This program was created many years ago to help make Christmas special for Clermont County seniors who have limited resources. The Program demonstrates that many people care about senior citizens and wish to help them have a brighter holiday.
Assist seniors with informal support to keep them living independently in their homes. Occasionally helping with bulk mailings – stuffing and labeling envelopes, working on special projects or special events. Being on-call to pick up a few items at the store, from the post office, at the pharmacy, etc. Light household chores.
Deliver nutritious meals to homebound older adults. Deliver meals in a timely, courteous manner. Check on the welfare of customers. Notify CSSI of any problems or irregularities. Reimbursement for mileage.

TRI is always looking for volunteers to help our students in class. These positions play a key role in allowing our students to achieve their goals and put a smile on their face. To learn more about becoming a Side Helper or Horse Leader. (March – December)
Assist with office duties, preparing learning aids, toy and equipment preparation, making games, organizing cabinets and materials.
Volunteers assist with reading and playing games with the special needs children (6 weeks to 5th grade), helping with art activities, and helping during gym and outdoor activities during the listed morning and afternoon hours.
The Women in Leadership is the Chamber’s largest committee. The goal of the committee is to bring professional women together in a monthly meeting for networking and business education. The committee hosts an annual evening of networking dinner and scholarships for mature women continuing their education to further their career goals.
L.I.F.E. is providing breakfast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at LIS, LES, and LPS. We are in need of additional volunteers to help put out and clean up the items on those days.
