Volunteer presence at the bedside when the active dying stage begins ensures no-one dies alone. We need vigil volunteers in our Inpatient Care Center, home care and long-term care facilities.
Companion volunteers connect one-on-one with patients and families. Companion volunteers are friendly visitors to alleviate social isolation, provide respite care so a family can take a much-needed break, and offer emotional or spiritual support.
