Make a difference this holiday season! Assist the Guest Experience team by greeting guests in the Rotunda, admitting guests into museum spaces, and spreading holiday cheer to the many families that visit the Cincinnati Museum Center.
As a volunteer, you’ll be interacting with guests, answering content and directional questions, and ensuring the safety of artifacts. You’ll work alongside staff to welcome and engage with guests in our temporary and traveling exhibits. Exhibits change regularly so there is always something exciting and new.
Are you overflowing with creative ideas? Do you love bringing looks of awe and wonder to guests’ faces through hands-on activities? You’ll facilitate open-ended, process-based experiences in our creative play lab KidSPACE, conduct experiments in our STEM lab and dive deep into historical Cincinnati makers in our History in the Making Classroom. You will work…
Organize a winter hat and glove drive with your school, church, family & friends.
Cook, serve & clean in our kitchen. Power wash dishes when dinner is over. Assistance piking up Panera bread donations may be needed as well.
Do you have a special talent or skill that you would be interested in teaching others? Examples include crocheting, knitting, arts and crafts, educational/informative programs or talks, bingo calling, etc.
Volunteers help collate various mailings at the center i.e. Newsletters, invitations, etc
We can engage volunteers to help serve the food, desserts, help members carry trays during lunch and help with any games or special activities that are included at our parties.
