Partner Engagement Team Members are responsible for assisting with connecting with The Cupcake Girls Partners monthly and creating a culture of community in and around any Partner relationship. Team members are required to attend monthly team meetings and volunteer five hours per month. In office requirements vary.

Recruit new members. Educate task force members and the community at large on the homelessness crisis, issues, solutions, etc. Provide data that shows accountability and transparency in the ongoing operation of HOUSINGMV.

Assist with locating and engaging our unhoused persons and connecting them to appropriate services and housing. Provide/distribute hygiene kits, clothing, supplies, and resource brochures. Provide support to the Mar Vista residents and businesses in their encounters with the homeless. Participate in projects to clean up homeless encampments.

Attend community events and connect with organization. Develop relationships with city and county agencies (mental health, fire department, law enforcement). Work with L.A. city council offices and city attorneys to ensure mission alignment.

Since the beginning of the pandemic HODG has marshaled 100s of local residents to make thousands of lunches every Sunday. From 13 collection hubs around the greater Los Angeles area, the group provides food to over 40 organizations across the city.

Good Tutors provides free 1:1 virtual tutors to underserved kindergarten through 12th grade students in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers help students with homework, language support, host group book clubs, and explore the arts.
