Join the Sheriff PAL team as a sport Volunteer!
Help clean the Macatawa River of trash, debris, and other non-natural materials, on foot or by boat. Anyone under 16 years old must be with an adult. Boats and equipment will be provided if used during the cleanup.
This program is designed for 12 to 18 year-olds who will work with ODC staff on a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks. Time may be spent improving trails, removing invasive species, cleaning animal enclosures, or assisting staff at events.
As a mission ambassador, you represent and build awareness surrounding mental health and suicide prevention education using the be nice. action plan as your platform. This is a base-level volunteer. This participant will have the opportunity to represent the be nice. action plan at community events, (along with an MHF staff member or a mission ambassador) such as health fairs, pop-up shops, and our two annual events.
We always need extra help at our events and would love to have you volunteer with us.
We are always looking for volunteers. We especially need aircraft mechanics and crew chiefs. But we also need people who can help with our website and social media, fundraising and business, and general office administration.
