If you have a truck with a hitch and a horse trailer you can assist with the transportation of animals. Truck or flat bed trailers can also help transport hay bales and other items.
Maintenance assistance such as mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, fencing, and farm equipment skills are always needed.
Assist the rescue by cleaning barns, stalls, paddocks, and more.

Volunteers work at the museum, build exhibits, and assist with record-keeping, maintenance of exhibits, and programming.
At the Light Station, we also have a number of positions in our Museum store, answering questions, selling tickets, books and souvenirs to finance the restoration and preservation of the oldest Lighthouse in Michigan.
All of our sites are accepting docents who are on the front lines, giving tours and answering questions to the thousands of visitors we receive a year.
