This is one of the most rewarding ways to help our cats! Do you have what it takes to foster a kitten? Socialize them with other animals and people, give them love and train them to be a good house cat?
Volunteers help us with food distribution and other events.
We have several events throughout the year that we need volunteers to help us with.
These are our “ground pounders” who go into the field to find missing people. You must be in good physical condition and comfortable searching mountain, desert, wilderness, and urban terrain in all kinds of weather. You will receive training in all aspects of search and rescue.
Other activities we are seeking volunteers for is to help restock our food pantry once a month and fill boxes with food for our Adopt-A-Vet Program. We also need assistance in making up hygiene kits that we use not only for our Adopt-A-Vet Program but for various veterans service fairs around the valley.
Olive Crest accepts a variety of in-kind donations throughout the year to help support our children and families. Donate your professional services to help Olive Crest build a better life for the at-risk population that we support.
The Volunteer Coordinator will be a critical position of our volunteer staff. They will have administrative duties along with performing orientations with prospective volunteers, oversee volunteer recognition and team culture, events and tabling.
Office Support Volunteers greet visitors, answer phones, filing, data entry and other office related jobs.
The Adoption Counselors are essential components of our volunteer staff at PALnv. They screen potential adopters before adoption, aid in filling out all paperwork, take pictures of the new family and go over the go home packet.
Be a positive influence in the lives of at risk children by volunteering at monthly support groups to help provide a fun learning experience. Create activities, bring snacks, and read and play with at-risk children.
