We distribute over 30,000 bags of groceries each year through Project SOUP, which takes a lot of food! Hosting a food drive is a great way to get involved with SHC.

EMAP exhibits at many events, farmers markets and special events. Quite often we are double booked and volunteer help is crucial to maintaining our high level of outreach and education on local food and sustainable farming. In short, we can’t do it without you!

Some people are naturals at planning and public speaking and we need them! We have lots of opportunities for naturalists, public speakers, educators, and persons interested in social media.

Protecting and creating trail is a huge job. Are you an avid outdoorsman or woman, do you enjoy hiking, backpacking, and getting dirty on the weekends? A volunteer position in our trail stewardship program may be what you need !

We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers who would be willing to assist in developing and administering ‘life skills’ programming to our clients. Volunteers would work with Homefull staff to develop appropriate curriculum, and then teach those skills to clients in a class or group setting.
