Dog Orphans is currently looking to apply for grants for our low-income spay/neuter clinic. If you or someone you know is knowledgeable about grant writing or is indeed a grant writer, we could really use your help!

Duties at the kennel include cleaning the kennels inside/out and feeding/watering the dogs. This is done every morning from 8:30am to about 11:00am. Assist in theater operations as an usher, ticket taker, or greeter. Applications are collected on an ongoing basis but we only contact applicants for interviews and training annually in August before the start of a new season.

Docents provide guided tours with a general overview of the gardens. Docent training runs annually March-April. Garden Ambassadors walk around the gardens, greet guests, answer questions, talk with guests about the gardens, specific plants and exhibits.

Advocates do not need to have experience with foster youth or the court system, just a desire to help children. We have an extensive interview process that begins with an application.
