Volunteer opportunities are vast and include: walking, bathing, fostering, or transporting our dogs; assisting at outdoor adoption events and fundraisers; or lending a hand with administrative work.

The following volunteer opportunities read/screen and deliberate on the submissions received for our Programs. Much of this experience is remote but often includes at least one element of in-person or phone meetings. These roles are incredibly important to the programs as they help select the final participants/fellows/grantees chosen for each program.

Once a month, we host a Saturday work day at Hope Gardens to help our community stay safe, clean, and well-maintained. Projects may include painting, gardening, seasonal safety and holiday preparation, or general cleaning of common community spaces or residential rooms for incoming families. We always need help putting materials into inventory and sorting, organizing, and bagging our materials. No matter the task, we try our best to make the experience fun for each and every volunteer.

Every day, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We average about 2,300 meals per day! But we can’t do it without friends like you to help prepare and serve meals for guests.
