The play selection committee reads scripts, makes recommendations, and looks for technical problem areas. If you love to read and have a good feel for stage productions, then lend us your eyes!
Our ushers and box office staff make sure that our patrons are having the time of their lives as soon as they walk in the door. This team of volunteers are our guests’ first point of contact with the organization, so we need smiling faces, welcoming demeanors, and people who love to be around people!
Props are a unique technical element that require our props volunteers to be very creative. Sometimes we make props from scratch, other times we have to find them, and then there are times when we have to turn one thing into something else entirely to make it work for the stage. Volunteers will also help…
Our sets are a big part of what makes our productions as good as – and even better than – many professional theaters. If physical labor isn’t for you, you can be a Friend in many other ways! We need volunteers to coordinate and answer our Trail Hotline, write informational and publicity articles, and manage our social networking—and that’s just a sample. Let us know of your special skill or interest, and we’ll put you to work!
Plant trees, repair fences, fill our kiosks, grind down trail bumps, pull our blower behind your vehicle to clear leaves and debris from the trail–if it’s on our trail, it can use your help!
We offer flexible community service opportunities for students, businesses, churches and civic organizations. Choose the time and place best for you, and we’ll match you up with one of our experienced volunteers to plan and direct your efforts. You’ll have fun with your group while contributing to your community.
