A Recovery Place

To provide a safe and healthy atmosphere of recovery for anyone affected by the disease of addiction, and resources that help them to become a productive member of society.

A Recovery Place is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting the recovery community by supplying meeting and activity space. In 2004 a group of like-minded individuals saw a need for a facility that could provide a safe and healthy atmosphere for twelve-step groups to meet and socialize during and after their meetings. Helping them get back on their feet is our priority, and partnering with other organizations gives us the ability to help in many different ways. Offering a consistent location for them to gather has helped many people succeed in their journey back into society. A Recovery Place, Inc. has been a self-funded organization with donors who believe in our vision. Our increased usage within the twelve-step community in the San Antonio area has led to the need for a larger building with adequate parking to accommodate the many individuals that visit A Recovery Place weekly.
