| About us | Accounting for Kids Day (AFK) is celebrating its 20th annual event this year. AFK began as a small event with 140 volunteers, mostly accountants and bankers, with the intent of going from the boardroom to the classroom and introducing students to financial literacy education. AFK was promoting financial literacy before it became a trend, and a state mandate. The program is focused on serving schools in low-income neighborhoods with the hope of inspiring children to consider life beyond high school and open their minds to the endless possibilities that education can provide. |
