About us | Art House is a nonprofit arts center located in historic Brooklyn Centre, between the Ohio City and Old Brooklyn neighborhoods of Cleveland, Ohio. The organization was founded in 1999 by local artists and residents dedicated to the belief that the arts enrich lives and help create better communities. Our purpose is to provide high quality visual and creative arts classes for people of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to enrich the lives of those who live in our community, to encourage and strengthen the careers of local artists and to promote learning through the arts. We offer a wide range of programming including: studio art classes and workshops for adults and kids; professional development opportunities for art educators and artists; StudioGO: fee based outreach arts classes, workshops and festival activities for schools, businesses, groups and organizations; Urban Bright: Arts-in-Education programming for Cleveland area schools; and Community Culture Nights: featuring local artists who discuss their lives and work. |
